A is for argument, sometimes profound,
B for the bullshit that lies all around.
C is for light speed – a limit for all,
D for dimensions rolled up really small.
E is for energy; that you must know,
F for the future, towards which we go.
G is for general; a relative thing,
H for the hymns that the godlier sing.
I is for infinite – endlessly great,
J for the Jews that are Preearth’s pet hate.
K for kinetic – an energy kind,
L for the ludicrous theories we find.
M is a theory all tied up in strings,
N is a number that covers all things.
O is for Orac, computer antique,
P is for Paul and political geek.
Q is for quantum’s behaviour most odd,
R is for Rev with his DIY God.
S is for science, to which we stay close,
T is for time and for Turtle verbose.
U for the Universe in which we all sit,
V for the vacuum; full of weird [censored].
W for wisdom – we can’t get enough,
X for the X-rays that see through our bluff.
Y is for Yang, who with Mills makes a pair;
Z is for zero, that’s really not there.

This isn’t a work of great poetic worth,
In fact, of real value there is a sad dearth.
It may make you smile, or it may make you frown,
But look at it now, before Mike takes it down!

LOL! That's the greatest poem I've ever seen on here. Too true!

BS, I love the line: "R is for Rev with his DIY God."
I agree, I DIMW (did it my way). So can anyone, with any imagination!

AND HERE ARE WORDS I WISH I HAD WRITTEN... THEY ARE ABOUT HEISENBERG'S UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLE:

Dear Dr.H, it seems you have found such great fame
From the axiom that now bears your world-famous name.

It says that we cannot know all things for sure,
Because further details are very obscure.
You swear that you're right.
You are, so I guess.

But there is a question I feel I must press:
I hope I am not your feelings a hurtin'--
But how can you really be sure you are certain?

Nice one Rev, but might it not have had more impact if the last line had been:

"But how can you really be sure you're uncertain?" smile

That is what religion is. The imagined God.

With the imagination one can do anything and be righteous.

We may suck as physics and maths and the likes,
But we husband our erudite goals.
We’d all do much better to get on our bikes
Than to stick around here feeding trolls!

Well said, Bill S. Now if we can just get the trolls to go a little too far...I think it as getting close to that now.

If you suck at the like, then your marriage needs work. Whatever skills you husband might tend to be dysfunctional

Ah.. All a matter of perspective isn't it. What better teacher than contrast to differentiate the light from the dark, or wisdom from assumption and belief.

Is not everything of an order, and isn't order of physics and maths and the likes?

Yes that should have been "at".

To say nothing of the "dysfunctional" skills of those who would read and interpret.
