Bill S wanted a infinity discussion thread which whenever I think of infinity gets me thinking of space manifolds.

And that reminded me to post a really magnificient presentation on 3D space manifolds and Grigory Perelman solving of the Poincaré conjecture.

Truely worth a watch.

That looks like it might be an interesting lecture. Unfortunately I am having trouble getting it. Each segment starts off ok, then bogs down and quits running after a minute or 2. I managed to get through the introduction and first segment, then gave up in the middle of the second segment.
