Some days back Centre For Science and Environment (CSE) published an article stating that EU is pushing India and Canada to sign free trade agreements that will hurt their generic drugs.

While on the other hand this NGO has been funded by the European Union for creating pressure groups in India against endosulfan, a generic pesticide used world over for more than 5o years.

If this is how NGOs help environment welfare, we better not have them in place.

The video shows up a letter from the European Union to CSE and clearly mentions that CSE was paid to create pressure groups against endosulfan.

Also the report on the basis of which endosulfan was banned in Kerala i.e. Dr. Vankar report was published by CSE's daily 'Down To Earth'. Recently this study was also found to be plagiarized.
