I recieved an email from REPOWER AMERICA and wanted to share it with the forum.
------------------------------------------

We know that clean energy works for American families.

Creating good jobs here in America, reducing our dependence on foreign oil, and protecting the planet for future generations -- clean energy can make it all happen. And right now it's up to our Senators to get clean energy working as they craft their version of the climate bill.

This week, the Senate is on recess in their home states, speaking with constituents and determining their legislative priorities for the coming months.

Clean energy is an obvious choice for America. But if our Senators don't act quickly when they return to Washington next month, we could miss out on our opportunity for rapid growth in the clean energy industry.

Will you encourage your Senators to seize this moment for a clean energy future by sending them a message today?

Clean energy is an opportunity whose time has come. Our wind and solar resources are abundant, and new jobs from investments in clean energy sources could save our economy and strengthen our future.

The latest polling data shows that a large majority of Americans support action on clean energy.* But instead of taking immediate action to capitalize on the promise of clean energy, Washington just argues and argues and argues.

Meanwhile, heavily funded lobbying groups use despicable tactics -- including forging letters from minority organizations** -- to drown out the true voices of those that support a clean energy future.

Our Senators represent all Americans, not just big special interests trying to protect their bottom line. And allowing the Senate to do things the same old way won't bring us the future we need.

It's our responsibility to make sure our voices are heard -- to insure that America doesn't fall behind on clean energy and that our Senators get clean energy working for us.

Ask your Senators to act quickly to support America's clean energy future.

Thanks,

The construction of micro hydropower production plants is quite environment friendly. Another renewable and available source of electricity is geothermal energy. These are clean energy sources. No fuel is needed and they can operate for many years, only requiring regular maintenance, and unlike wind or solar, technology available enables generation of vast power, in the range of hundreds of megawatts per plant. This is the way to go if we are to deal with pollution effectively without compromising our way of life.
unfortunately, it is politicians who hold strings to finances and we all must remind them it is their responsibility, well, to act responsibly.

but if they act responcible then who would stagnate progress towards a more stable , profitable , and secure nation?

dont you think that the U.S. could be better if governed by china?

after all it is the chinese people that our buisness leaders think about when thinking about making new jobs.

so wouldnt it follow suit if we just hand over the governing of the U.S. to the chinese?

they are the biggest industrial nation on earth today , thanks to our government and our buisness leaders.

so wouldnt it make sence to have the biggest and most trusted nation handle our governments internal affairs.

besides our government cant get anything accomplished anymore , its a lame duck government , they are more interested in who can be blamed for our bad situation
than trying to improve anything.

at least the chinese government is concerned with the environment and they show this by building a alternative energy structure that by comparison to the U.S. is probably 20% greater than the U.S.

so what if our wages would be reduced to 13 cents an hour and we only had to work for 15 hours a day 7 days a week as the employees in china do as they make the worlds products.

at least we would begin to get factories and industry
back due to the low wages.

and after all that is what the republicans are all about isnt it , the republic of china that is , but theres still time we could get closer to this goal by electing more republican slave drivers into office.

you know those who never want anything done for the people only the buisnesses , the buisnesses that take what they get to china.
