a Frenchman named Marc Parent, has produced a Windmill that produces drinking water out of the air.
While the priniple is not new, I must commend Marc for his simplistic practicality.
He wants to sell his windmills to Africa, and parts of the World short of water.
I would expect him to become a rich man, and am surprised that this has not been done on a small scale before.
His drawings do not show how the water is produced.

***My thoughts
Hopefully he is using Thermo-Electric Solid state cooling. Or the 'Peltier Effect'.
Twelve Volts and a few Amps will get him everything. Just like the cold Box you take in the car
to keep your Beer and Food cold in summer.

Interesting that he got a patent on it. I too have seen the concept touted around before.

I would guess that it would work much better in tropical areas with lots of moisture in the air. I can't see it cranking much H2O out of dry air, or am I missing something?

I suppose if monsoonal rainfall patterns change then they could find utility in the tropics. It's a bit hard to see how they could make it cheap enough though. It looks like expensive kit and given the moving parts would suffer from reliability issues as well.
