The original Footprints left on the Moon by Neil Armstrong, and Buzz Aldrin,
after landing on the Moon in the Apollo Lander over 40 years ago......
have just been spotted and photographed by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, the other day.
Together with the Lunar Module and the scientific package left on the Moon.

I thought...the long scuffy dragging footprints showed up very well, from about 30 miles high.
Proof to those few remaining unbelievers...that we did land on the Moon over 40 years ago.

I don't think that it was meant seriously.

World trade center conspiricy theory debates will rage on for longer. Lots of people died there.

ha ha if you could fake a whole Moon Landing Scenario and make the world trust it..... then its nothing to fake these images and say its true.... if anyone else like Russia,England or new rising Indian Space Reserach anyone gave us these pics and said we would have probably given a Second Thought.... but NASA come on....

anyways there is always a fight Between Cospiracy Theorists and Scientists..... so no probs.....

The most famous thing the astronauts left on the moon may have been their footprints, but the most important thing left was something else:

Why is the shadow of the lunar module to the right and everything else has a shadow to the left. blush

petm1:
The appearance of the shadows on the left is an illusion. You are seeing the shadow of a crater, which is dark on the half nearest the sun. When you shine a light into a hole at an oblique angle, the side of the hole nearest the light is in darkness, the opposite side is illuminated. A crater is a hole and therefore we would expect to see the side nearest the sun in darkness and the side furthest away illuminated, and indeed this is the case in these photos. Step back and get a perspective on the problem.
