The following just occured to me. According to my understanding of Einstein, both light and gravity are waves that travel at the speed of light. (Is it more correct to think of gravity as a vector field and that pertubations to the field are the waves that travel at the speed of light?) Light can not escape a black hole because space is so distorted (stretched) that a wave of any wave length is also stretched out of existance. When viewed as a boson, the photon travels between leptons located at points a & b where D = b - a and time T = D/c. If b lays outside of the event horizon and a within, then T goes to infinity as D is streatch to infinity and the photon never has enough time to cross the event horizon. Gluons also travel between leptons so why is this not also true for the gluon? How is the force of gravity projected beyond the event horizon?

the matter that is inside a black hole has little or no energy.

the electrons of atoms that make up the matter inside a black hole have moved as close to the atoms center as they can move , their orbits have decreased so their energy has decreased , their orbital velocity has decreased , if not stopped.

this energy is contained by the mass until the mass is able to shrink further by releasing a gamma burst.

the more a black hole feeds , the more energy it will release.

then T goes to infinity as D is streatch to infinity

D could not stretch beyond the distance from b outside the event horizon to the center of the black hole.

D would still remain intact or constant as a measurement.

I don't think that gravity travels at all , and I don't think that gravity has waves , it is a constant (proportionate) to the amount of mass an object has.

Tim.

Assuming that you haven't had time to sort the internet wheat from the chaff, these links may help:

http://www.faqs.org/faqs/astronomy/faq/part4/section-11.html
http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/physics/Relativity/BlackHoles/black_gravity.html

If you can find any other authoritative alternatives, it would be useful to post the links here.

Aether Wave Theory doesn't suffer by such conceptual problems. In AWT gravitational waves / gravitons are tachyons, so they can leave black hole. Even microwave photons or neutrinos are considered tachyons with compare to common photons - so they can escape from black hole horizon - at least partially. Photons shouldn't be consideres as a pure light wave, which is abstract concept and as such it's always of zero rest mass and it spreads in luminal speed. But special relativity cannot consider photon - wave difference, being not quantum field theory.

For more details please see: AWT and rest mass of photon

There's grains of truth everywhere. Collect them all and Truth is what emerges. The mistake of accepting the idea that the reference frame of spacetime is non-local and independant of the observers situation has caused 100 years of confusion. "black holes" are likely not so simple. such matter/energy densities give much opportunity for such things as coaxial spacetime slipstreams and mass/energy escape thru less timespace bounded dimensions than mundane matter we are familiar with is most comfortable in.
Its not difficult to happen on the experiences of non-local spacial and retrocausual temporal behavior of the universe. Well... Who knows why you get to have your eyes opened by such stuff. Guess some chunk of the hyperconciousness thinks you could use it. We're in a playpen. Kindergarten for timelords. Far more complexity in the bigger picture than we are ready for if we are in this pen.

That's right, in principle - nevertheless some grains of truth may still remain more relevant for absolute truth, then the others. We shouldn't search these grains in highly derived models and situations, which works only under special conditions.

As one of quite general principle is the way, in which the reality emerges in form of density fluctuations inside of large system of colliding particles. Such system is transparent/invisible for energy spreading, but its density fluctuations not. Similar principle applies to all systems composed of many other elements, so we can find it in atom nuclei, fluids, cells of living organisms, human society, planets, inside of stars and galaxies.

As a holo-unitheist, theologically speaking, this sounds like something that makes sense to me. Nothing escapes G0D, not even black holes. smile

How such claim can be tested? If it cannot, why to spread such ideas at all?

yes, that is absolutely true. what i have heard about black hole is that it can absorb any energy level, but still some queries needs to be resolved by science in this regard.
