No doubt the AGW freaks will continue to argue the toss.

NASA Makes 'Amazing' Discovery: Sun Heats Earth

http://www.hyscience.com/archives/2009/06/nasa_makes_amaz.php

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2009/06/nasas_latest_discovery_sun_hea.html

"NASA Study Acknowledges Solar Cycle, Not Man, Responsible for Past Warming"

"This report may represent the third time that NASA’s DR. James Hansen, Al Gore’s point man on his AGW hoax, has had to backtrack on his claims that humans are responsible for climate change.

In the past Dr. Hansen was forced to admit that 1934, not 1998, was the warmest year on record due to a lack of standardization of weather reporting stations. Hansen also misstated that “October 2008 was the hottest on record,” largely because the data used repeated September’s."

So much for scientific consensus.

This must be the final nail in the coffin, but I wonder how long it will take all those perfectly rational scientists to give up the ghost and go where the evidence leads them. I won't hold my breath.

Agree, Socrates. What our species is responsible for is the 6th - and current - Major Mass Extinction Event.

Socrates,

This bit of misinformation has been making the circles on FOX "news." Once Glen Beck says it, it must be true, because the minions of darkness start parroting it.

This is typical of the anti-science gw-deniers: they spread articles around that "quote" sentences from scientific articles out of context that

Read an actual NASA article on the subject:

The denialists don't care about the actual science.

Well, if Solar activity remains lowest over last hundred years and the Sun heats Earth - shouldn't we observe the largest cooling over last hundred years?

The problem is the only way to truly know is to monitor it. If the doomsayers are accurate it might be too late.
