Where would the material come from? Well I don't exactly where they would come from, or what the materials would be, because I am not an architect, but I suspect something else other than the traditional steel frame construction would be needed and that could involve carbon fiber construction or something else in the works. By building this building we would be opening ourselves to a new source of materials from the asteroid belt, but I was thinking about the docking of space craft to a building and I am not certain how it would do it, but maybe the building would be as high as it takes for geosynchronous orbit and the craft could dock in the direction of the Earth’s rotation and the docking ring could then rotate the ship to the proper direction and eject the building with compressed air.
