After reading a few threads, I wanted to introduce myself to this community. I look forward to sharing ideas with other forum members on how to preserve this amazing rain forest.

Best regards,

Richard

I often hear how amazing is your world-class, beautiful, enrapturing biosphere.

As one of the resident fanatics, I look forward to some neat discussions.
Forest preservation is such a difficult problem; connected to so many others.
I hope sustainability is a big focus... -for the forest, as well as the people, and the planet.
Do you have some sort of "Mission Statement" or "Goals List?"

Cheers,

p.s. I hope you've heard of Terra Preta, bio-char, agri-char, etc. [see, the fanatic starts creeping out]blush

I think we all have the same goal. To make this planet a safe place for future generations. I do live in a rain forest, yet I see too much logging these days.

Hopefully, we can slow that down.
