I found another interesting comment about global warming and not just anthropogenic global warming. Someone by the name of Vernon "asked three questions that are tied to the very underpinning of the CO2 theory."

The first was how temperature proxies do not match the direct measurements.

The second and more thorough is about the accuracy of sea level measurements. I never realized that the satellite sea level readings have an accuracy of +/- 2 cm due to anomolies in its orbital distance. He summarized by saying, "Basically what this indicates is that we do not understand sea level change, we are not sure of what the sources of it are and to say that it is increasing now more than in the past cannot be proven."

The third question is in the last paragraph that addresses the cooling from about 1945 - 1975. [Note: there are no links to scientific studies for this last question]
