Hi All,

I'm afraid that I have some sad news to announce. Jack Williamson, one of the greatest science fiction writes of all time, has died.

The details may be found here:

http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition/california/la-me-williamson14nov14,1,7844040.story?page=1&coll=la-headlines-pe-california

Wiki has a write-up about the man and his work:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Williamson

His Legion of Space fascinated and inspired me as a boy. I'm sure many others will be saddened by his passing.

Dr. R.

I used to live down the street from him. It's sad to hear of his passing.
