Your basic premise: "that the wave-particle duality theory of light is invalid" is fatally flawed. = Maxwell's structure of light is a continuous structure derived from Maxwell's eqautions. A continuous structure cannot form a particle structure.
To site Asimov as the authority that "a wave-particle [duality] is "against common sense"" is pure unaduterated poppycock.
