I remember back in the 80's when the pound was worth
over 4 dollars U.S. ... I'll have to look all of this up
but Im wondering when did the pound begin to lose
its value that had shrunk to over 300% of its 1980's value ...

a lower valued pound will mean more buisness start ups
and more trade exports for the UK.

Just one London based firm sacked 2,000 workers
and announced their intention to move to Germany.

which firm was that?
if it was credit sussie then that move was planed back in
october 2015 as a restructuring.

The cuts, part of a $6.3bn (£4.1bn) restructuring plan introduced by the new
chief executive, Tidjane Thiam, which involves slimming down the group’s investment bank, include
axing about a third of the posts at Credit Suisse’s London office.

The move could result in back-office jobs being moved to Poland or India, the group’s employees
heard on Wednesday.

“There’s absolutely no point in so many people in back-office jobs being located in
Canary Wharf, where rents are some of the highest in the world,” said a source.

Scotland called for another referendum which would almost
certainly take them out of the UK.

and your point is ?

the British wanted their soveringnity from the EU right?
so if Scotland and/or Northern Ireland choose to each seek
their soveringnity from the UK then shouldnt they also
have that ability?

Japan refused to trade with UK.

so I suppose the UK will either have to build or produce the items that
japan used to build or produce for the UK or buy those items from another country.

there are loads of other countries that produce products that will gladly accept
your money.

and your exports.

£350,000,000 per week

looks like your economy is about to hit the high marks if your politicians
use that money to fund business start ups ... your looking at 350 new buisnesses
with a 1 million a year start up fund each and every week.
apx 50 employees @ 400 a week paid up front for the year
for each of the 350 new start ups each week.
17,500 new jobs each and every week.
910,000 new jobs each and every year...

that is an incredible number of jobs unless the money is handled the wrong way.
you dont have that many people in the UK...

so wheres the financial problem ?
