In any case, we all got tamiflu which is really a miracle drug, but not the best way to deal with the disease. When my youngest (16.5 yo) got sick, I thought she had been exaggerating, because of pressure at school. I was such an ass and I ought to have known better. Daughter was the first infected in our house. On the one hand they did have kids at her school with H1N1 - on the other hand, this seemed way too severe, because as has already been noted, H1N1 is supposedly not that bad for most people. For my wife, it wasn't that bad. For my daughter and I, it was the worst flu I've ever had. Anyway, we can't be sure, but I suspect it wasn't swine flu, meaning we're still susceptible it. So we're definitely getting the jab.
