It's a great age to live in when people can serious discuss these possibilities without someone locking them up and throwing away the key!

Well, they are the scientists, and if they suggest that an alternative to DNA may be possible, I wouldn't dispute it...but I still wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be DNA. Either way, it would be (will be) a fantastic discovery.
