Yes Spring Heeled Jack was seen by a large number of people.
He left 'jump trails' in the snow which went across cottage roofs.
There is another strange story about...People bursting into spontaneous combustion, in the UK and US. I believe there are police photos, and records that show nothing else caught fire, except part of the body, in all cases.
