This sounds good, probably works...but will take a far longer time to cool the food, than we are now used to....I think.

Place a lump of Ion in a strong magnetic field, and it will increase in temperature slightly.
All to do with spin up, or spin down of the Electrons
The trick will require excellent heat transfer from the fridge food via small particles of doped iron that are being pumped around and thru a strong magnetic field. As I read it.

Prehaps the 12volt Peltier insulated picnic boxes, you buy in most camping stores, would be more efficient, in terms of energy used?
